April 2012 Newsletter

Our Launch went amazing on St. Patrick’s day just gone. We reckon over 400 people turned up. There was a traffic jam on The Copper Coast! Thank you all for making it a very special day. At one stage it simply wasn’t possible to squeeze through the front door with the amount of people that were inside.

Colleen and Audrey’s edible creations were surrounded by Pamela Silin-Palmer’s wonderful Bunny Chairs. Claire kept us all topped up and Davids bowls were licked clean. Ciaran, John, Mook, Alex, Margaret and Hy captured the whole event on film. Hy Mayerson stood up on one of the tables to officially launch us into the world. Alive and kicking, ready for action.

To coincide with our official launch there was a documentary film created in Bunmahon called ‘Village by the Sea’ by New Zealand director Michael Heath with cinematography by Stephen Latty. Michael has been in India for the past four weeks editing the film, so we anxiously await the results. Stephen has returned to New Zealand, Hy Mayerson and Colleen Koos have returned to the States, miss you guys!
