Kids @The Art Hand

The Art Hand in Bunmahon has been busy lately with over 40 young artists aged from 4 to 12 who are attending the Kids @ The Art Hand workshops. The 10 week term is broken into 4 classes that run on Tuesdays and Thursdays. A limited amount of extra places are available each week for kids who would like to get involved but can’t commit to the full term.

At the end of the course a group exhibition will be held in The Art Hand. Scheduled for the last week in November, this exhibition will be open to the public and will include the students work in clay, collage, mosaic, drawing, painting, printing, stencils, graffiti and more.

Kids Art Classes at The Art Hand

The classes are run by artists Miranda and Sean Corcoran in their custom-built art facility on The Copper Coast. The Art Hand already runs art projects in Primary Schools and will be hosting school tours next year. For further details of Kids @ The Art Hand please have a look at this page here; www.theArtHand.com/kids or ring Sean or Miranda on 051 292919.

Also, watch out for an interesting and ambitious art project with The Art Hand in the Peoples Park on Sunday October 14th for the Solas Center Run for Life. Curious? Check this website closer to the time for details.
