"Oíche na Gaoithe Móire" (The Night of the Big Wind)Check out “Oíche na Gaoithe Móire” (The Night of the Big Wind) which will broadcast on RTÉ TV 1 at 10.15pm and BBC Two Northern Ireland at 11.20pm (Tuesday 6th January). Footage shot by Sean Corcoran from The Art Hand is featured in the programme. The programme was made by Lagan Media Productions in Belfast.

Sean had the following to say; “It’s my first time on the BBC! I’m really delighted. The footage was shot over the course of a few days back in January when Storm Christine hit Ireland. My friend the photographer Keith Fitzgerald and I braved the elements together, we had great fun, I love storms. The rugged stretch of The Copper Coast from Bunmahon Beach to Boatstrand Harbour is featured in the footage. My Canon G15 camera hasn’t worked since, but it was worth it!”
