Kids @ The Art Hand

We have developed a unique and exciting range of art classes to suit the abilities of individual kids from toddlers up to the age of 12. The Toddler Workshops take place on Wednesday mornings while the 4 to 7 year olds are with us on Tuesdays and the 8 to 12 year olds are here each Thursday. Full details below of our Summer Term 2014.

Art workshops for toddlers will return on Wednesday mornings from 10 to 11.30 starting on April 30th. A Parent or guardian attends and participates in the workshops. Mummies, Daddies, Grandparents and child-minders are welcome. This is a fun and active workshop where everyone gets involved. The activities are facilitated by artists Sean and Miranda Corcoran of The Art Hand.

This workshop will give young kids a chance to mix with new little friends in a stimulating environment while giving parents new skills and the opportunity to meet other parents.

We’ll be exploring textures from tinfoil and shaving foam to crepe paper and leaves. We’ll be painting things, making things, doing things and balancing things. Phew! Time for tea after all that and a relax at storytime.

Wear old clothes, you might get covered in paint or modelling clay!

The cost per workshop for an adult and 1 child is €10.

The cost per workshop for an adult and 2 children is €15.

Refreshments are served to big and little people!

Booking is essential, please ring Sean or Miranda on 051 292919.

    Hi lads,

Now that Juno is 4 I’d like to book herself and norah a place each on your upcoming kids art course.

Juno is the braver of the two so she’ll be norahs buffer!

Will give you a buzz in the morning,

    Ruth
